Vince and Sal at Mothercare Global HQ

On Thursday 11 February Vince Cable MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer visited Mothercare plc at their Watford HQ. He and Sal Brinton, Liberal Democrat prospective MP for Watford, met Ben Gordon, Mothercare's Chief Executive and his team at their global HQ in Watford. Vince commented "I was impressed to meet a company that so clearly understands its market, and with ambitions to continue to expand internationally."

Sal Brinton added "Mothercare's continued growth and success is all the more remarkable, given the global recession. Watford is proud to host their international headquarters."
